An ambulance for the 225th Separate Assault Regiment has been dispatched to the Zaporizhzhia sector

Another emergency medical vehicle from the “Mercy and Health” Charitable Foundation has been handed over to the soldiers of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment, which is currently defending one of the most intense sections of the front—the Zaporizhzhia sector.
The Unit's Combat History
The 225th Regiment is among the most combat-ready assault units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The unit saw its first combat action during the defense of Kharkiv in 2022. Since then, its soldiers have fought in the fiercest battles of this war—for Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Chasiv Yar. In the summer of 2024, it was the soldiers of the 225th who were the first to enter the Kursk Oblast of Russia, becoming participants in one of the most high-profile episodes of the war.
What the medical staff received
The donated ambulance is fully equipped to provide emergency care in the field. It includes a patient monitor for tracking vital signs, a suction device, a defibrillator, essential medications, supplies, and tactical first-aid kits. This equipment enables military medics to stabilize the condition of the wounded immediately on the battlefield, even before evacuation to a stabilization point.
Collaboration with Partners
This delivery was made possible thanks to the ongoing support of our Belgian partner organization, BeForUkraine, which has been helping the foundation provide Defense Forces units with the necessary equipment for several years now. The foundation extends its gratitude to everyone who contributed to this delivery and continues to support Ukraine’s defenders.
