On the Shield

Bringing every hero home is a matter of honor for society as a whole.

Every fallen defender has the right to return home. Each of them must be identified and returned to their families. This requires the painstaking work of dozens of people—and a pressing need for specialized transportation.

The “Mercy and Health” Foundation, together with its partner, the BeForUA Civil Society Organization, and donors from European countries, has donated more than 15 refrigerated trucks to transport fallen heroes to their final resting places.

The “On the Shield” program is our contribution to ensuring that no hero is forgotten.
